Next Week Shabbat, Scholar In Residence: Rabbi Chaim Jachter

We will be honored to welcome Scholar-in-Residence Rabbi Chaim Jachter, of the Beit Din of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and author of two volumes on Halakhic topics entitled Gray Matter. His topic will be “The Halakhic Process:”

8:00 PM, Friday Night Oneg: “Beit Din in Action” – A study of three real life disputes and how Beit Din resolved the dispute.

4:40 PM, Between Mincha and Ma'ariv: “Can a Halachic Decision be Appealed?” The answer may surprise you!

8:15 PM, Motzaei Shabbat: “The Influence of a Posek’s Values on his Halachic Decisions” ($5.00 suggested donation)
