Which is a bit drushy, but given that the minhag isn't going anywhere, is better than nothing.Josh M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14414532577328945154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5589564.post-39252538339131208372008-12-21T11:58:00.000-05:002008-12-21T11:58:00.000-05:00probably not, in *most* cases. i just write this w...probably not, in *most* cases. i just write this warning because it gives me the freedom to explore various halachic topics without worrying too much that people will take it as a final psak. especially since i have smicha, and especially since certain posts really overturn conventional thinking about halachic topics in a way I personally am convinced is true, and might actually be somewhat compelling. And so I can write throughout *as if* I were paskening, while making clear with that caveat that I am not really doing so. Certain really powerful (yet I believe true) things I've held back. This post, probably it was not necessary, but I tend to put it on any post touching on halacha.

One random example of what I think is a powerful post is here, about talking between Yishtabach and Yotzer Or. I could well imagine people taking it practically. But just perhaps they should consult their LOR first.joshwaxmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05149022516101476797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5589564.post-46061512515159490482008-12-21T11:41:00.000-05:002008-12-21T11:41:00.000-05:00"Note: This post is not intended halacha lemaaseh...."Note: This post is not intended halacha lemaaseh. Feel free to see my own post on Chanukah, the Almost Yom Tov to see how skewed my views have become.
BTW, my rov liked the post on what did Yehudah give Tamar.Lakewood Falling Downhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14483392684657880997noreply@blogger.com
